Australasian Viral Hepatitis Conference 2026
From 12 to 14 August
The 16th Australasian Viral Hepatitis Conference (VH2026) will take place in Walyalup (Fremantle), Western Australia from 12 to 14 August 2026.
Every voice, everywhere reflects what it will take to improve viral hepatitis outcomes across Australasia: community leadership and lived experience alongside clinical expertise, research, policy and program delivery. The conference will bring together people living with hepatitis, peers, nurses, GPs, specialists, researchers and decision-makers to share practical, evidence-informed solutions that strengthen prevention, testing, treatment and long-term care in every setting, including primary care, prisons, rural and remote services and community-led models. With a focus on translating what we know into what we do, the tagline Turning ambition and experience into action signals a clear intent to move from national goals to real-world change on the ground.
The conference aims to advance progress towards the elimination of hepatitis B and hepatitis C, and to improve support for communities affected across Australia, New Zealand, and the Asia–Pacific region.
