1ière Réunion internationale du groupe consultatif communautaire sur l’hépatite C

22 – 25 février 2014 / Bangkok, Thaïlande

Cette réunion est organisée par le Treatment Action Group (TAG) avec le soutient de l’Asia Pacific Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS (APN+) et co-financée par TAG, l’Open Society Institute, l’Organisation Mondiale de la Santé, Médecins du Monde, Global Network of People living with HIV et le AIDS Fonds. Cette première rencontre doit rassembler 40 activistes internationaux et devrait être l’occasion pour eux de stratégiser afin d’accroître l’accès aux traitements de l’hépatite C en se penchant notamment sur les sujets clefs que sont : les droits de propriété intellectuelle, les personnes s’injectant des drouges (PUDVI), les hommes ayant des relations sexuelles avec des hommes (HsH), les nouveaux antiviraux à action directe (AAD), etc. Dans un second temps, les activistes rencontreront les différents laboratoires pharmaceutiques, de marques et génériques. L’objectif est de clarifier et rendre transparentes leurs politiques en matière d’accès aux traitement dans les pays à revenu faible ou intermédiaires.
